It is so difficult to allow our children to talk risks, when we carry our own baggage around activities like swimming and climbing. The back and forth dance we as parents do around these kind of activities too: can be so stressful.

Great post which reveals the push and pull. Which will eventually give them the skills they need for life's adventures...I hope anyway ;)
